Hi, I’m Jo

I live in Melbourne, Australia with my husband and our two boys. I started my writing career in advertising but these days I spend less time writing for clients and more time writing for kids.

I love reading adult books and kids books in all genres, but the books I get most excited about are the ones where I can see a tiny bit of myself in one of the characters. (Preferably in the main character, I can be self-centred like that.) I hope there are readers out there that find a bit of themselves in my books too.

When I’m not reading or writing, I enjoy rock climbing, marathon running, learning French and lying about my interests.
